20210309_152414-01.jpeg 20210309_152406-01.jpeg No idea of the year. Parked next to me in Live Oak, FL this afternoon. I know they stopped building them in 97ish
but really don't know much about them. It sounds great and was in fantastic shape.

Always liked those Dallas made trucks. They mixed a little of the best features of all the makes into one design. IHC cab, KW windshields, Pete doors, Frieghtliner sleeper, Western Star fenders. Etc etc.

There is a number "85" on the sleeper box. Perhaps for the year 1985?

Regardless, a very good looking truck!

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

There’s a Car Dealership in Janesville Wi. He got a Marmon Franchise, right before they went under. Never even got a single Truck on the lot. Had a trailer full of brand new parts, along with a sign. He was selling everything fairly cheap at the time. He was very angry about the ordeal. He ended up getting a Western Star Franchise instead, even though there was already a WS Dealership a few miles away. I couldn’t help but think some day the parts would be worth a lot. Fagan Western Star, I Don’t t know if he’s still a WS Dealer. He has quite a few Automotive Franchises.Been there for years. None of it made sense.

Anybody remember the Presidential Golden Edition?
It traveled around the truck show curcuit back in the early 1990’s.
I always thought they should have done the stacks and wheels in gold too.

I would have asked the details if he would have been up and about. Probably is an 85.
The safety vest in passenger seat made it look like a driver sitting in seat but nope
