I gave up on the kit. I'll just pick up a few bars when we go to the truck parts. I might have a deal on a new dewalt grinder but who knows. And maybe just buy some new cutting wheels. I think all under 100 when all is said and done.

If you have a burnt up wheel motor, you can often buy a replacement - upgrade motor, bearing, & spindle kit for less than a replacement unit. Check Ebay - if you have a decent frame (housing). An old cast steel housing, with a modern insulated motor would last a long time (think flea market or some old dudes yard sale).

The grinder we have is good but i'd rather have my own things. It's one of those cheap home depot ryobi grinders. I think my dad picked it up for 35. I'd like to get some responsibility and how to manage my money. I wouldn't want someone breathing down my neck "boieyy where's ma grinda?".

If you feel a distinct sting across the back of your thighs... that is probably that over acting ### clown, whipping you with your dipstick :)
