CRST: Taking a refresher, then hitting the road

So far I really like Werner I'll see if I still do once I go solo but so far I haven't sat more than my 10 hours or in this case my 34 hour reset. I love the paperless logs and loving the miles. I only have 17 hours left of my training which I'm going to try to get 10 hours in tomorrow and like 8 in the next day. Good luck with swift.

 

the 300+$$ your supposed to get while training do they deduct your tuition cost from that im kind of in a rut right now and need to make money but im not too ecstatic about going otr for 8 weeks broke can u tell me how much i should expect to make while training becuase i dont kno about those recruiters

 

U make 350/week minus taxes they deduct everything after 45 days I think tuition is paid if u stay with them for 8 months so you don't pay that

Yea I know what you mean, I'm making 400 a week now with Werner but that's cause I have exp. I'll see how it is once I go solo. Good look ddiesel.

Hi all, guess i am suppose to be coming to C R, IA or training since it has been more than 60 days since i have been out of driving school. They say I need to come to refresher course.. Im waiting for my recruiter to get back to me with bus info, don't know why they aren't sending me to the Pa site since it is closer to me, cheaper for them also since it wouldn't cost them the bus ticket that i suppose I am going to end up having to pay for anyway. Any info as to what I should expect? Thanks

 

I was wondering if you can tell me if i can bring my laptop with me, not sure what to really expect since this is a first for me. Thanks

 

Yes u can bring a laptop the pa site is a small terminal with just a mechanic shop. As for who I enjoy working with more it's werner I have sat less and make more. Plus my truck has an apu. And no team member when the truck is stopped I'm sleeping.

 

So no more crack snortin' codrivers?
