Sitting in So.Cal. Freight appears slow. Took a brokered p.o.s. load to Otay Mesa on the border, then DH to Carson for another brokered pile that ended up not happening so I’m contributing $ to Petro to park, and still no load

 

18 back to I-15. Just followed the fuel route, weather was clear for the trip... was clear. Snowed most of the morning in Utah, snowed on the mountain, wrecks on the mountain. Recapping hours so I couldn’t make it from Beaver to Denver with all the backups. So back tracked (7 miles) from the wreck traffic back to Silt for the night. With my appt changed to tomorrow morning.

 

Been a dedicated BD driver lately...

Sumpter to BB to sumpter to BB to Sumpter to BB and now heading to Four Oaks... then three days of home time coming this weekend.

last week was down for half day in CB for 150k maintenance visit... looked into a few other issues that the truck was having... between that short day and a second short day swinging by Paris to visit mom who went to the ER I didn’t hit a required reset so I’m strolling to FO and home on recaps. Got hours for today but only 5 coming around tomorrow then 11 to finish the run and get my tail home before the weekend.

 

I’ve been having my DM route me on I40 with all the cali loads. Too much sitting on 70/80

 

I just dead headed from Kent Washington to Idaho Falls Idaho to re-power a load they were sitting at the Volvo dealership from another driver whose truck is in the shop. the Load going to Ankeny Iowa for Monday delivery providing interstate 80 cooperates

 

Cheyenne area is expecting 2’ of snow tomorrow night into Saturday
