well 1bad is in atlanta heading to Conley to get 3 batteries for his truck then he will be home til Friday morning. Squash casserole is ready to bake in the am , dressing as well and the mac salad is mellowing out in the fridge now. Turkey is about 1/2 done on the smoker. If anyone is heading our way give us a shout and I'm sure I can hook you up with a good meal not just an ok one. Even dessert we pumpkin, sweet potatoe, apple, pecan and lemon margine pie to top off your belly tank. Be safe out there!

C'mon, Widow! You're just being mean now.:biggrin_25510: Here I am trying to figure out what truck stop to eat at and you're telling us what a wonderful menu you have in Georgia! Let me guess... the pies are all from scratch, right!

(In case there's any doubt, I am joking)

That's it... next time I'm in Conley I calling for a care package!

Widow and 1badz28, this is off topic, but I have an update and since the forum is not busy, I'll just post it for everybody's entertainment.

I met up with William (1Badz28) when he was stopped near my house. We were in the process of buying a Z28 and we brought Josh (age 16) with us to ask 1Bad's advice. I could tell that 1Bad thought we were getting in over our heads, but he was too polite to come out and say it in front of the kid.

Sooooooo, we did as much work on the car as we could do ourselves, and then we traded it to a guy who had a convertible z28 but he wanted ours for the motor. I can text you a pic if you would like it-- just shoot me a PM.

Every time we worked on the car it made me think of the evening we met 1Bad. Truly a good and honerable man.

I would go over to the Sapp Bros. over on California ave, its just off I-215 north of the 201. Parking might be hard to come by, but thats not too bad of a place to kill some time.

Well Jess, am in Denton right now doing a 10 that will be a little longer than that. No big hurry for me. I'm on a D&H that drops at wally world in Plainview NLT 2359 on the 27th. Will have it there tomorrow. Hope they have an mty. Then I have a preplan at Cargill, with the drop dead time on the 28th. Going to turn around and head right back to GA. Augusta to be exact.

Widow, River Runner is right. Your just being plain mean now. sniff sniff. lol
