2007 International 9400i cummins isx

To all, I have a fault code 434which is lost unswitched power to ECM. If you name it i have done it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
any off the wall ideas would be great..Thanks

 

Also left off it comes and goes. Its like i have a gremlin!!!!!!!!!!

 

You need to name what you have done.

 

3 ECM’s new ground wires, new positive wires, new batteries, new wiring harness on international side of ecm. Cleaned all ground lugs. The only thing left to try that I know is disconnect my ELD.

 

Is the engine light on?
Does it affect the way it runs?
Are there any other codes logged?
In the automotive world many manufacturers log loss of un switched power when ever the battery is disconnected or goes dead.
The code is in active and resets on its own with a programmed specified number of key on run cycles.
Not sure if it’s the same in the heavy truck systems?

 

Truck shuts down for a second then turns back on. Yes it logs a 434 fault code. Then the code goes in active after you cycle key switch.

 

How frequently does this occur?

 

It’s very random. Basically when ever it feels like it!!!!!

 

Does just the engine shut down?
Or do you lose power to the entire truck?
