Knock yourself out, you'll be talking to a dead mic as mine is off MOST of the time.![]()
The customer can dictate all they want, if I don't like their rules I'll not haul for them again.

BUT, If you hold up the driver and run him out of hours at the dock you CANNOT according to DOT rules ask him to leave without being liable for any accident he may have. I know to many lawyers, Believe me. If a trucker leaves a dock here out of hours the local DOT bear Merlin Schatz WILL hang you out to dry. -
that is your choice. but if you're a company driver you can expect some grief from your company regarding your attitude problems. as far as your cb mic being turned off, good for you.
wanna be my friend now.........?? i haven't got too many friends, and i think that you'll make a good friend for me............:smt044 -
i'm glad you "know too many lawyers", (is this from your own personal experience??). this tells me that you're sloppy in what you do and you need a lawyer's help getting you out of the trouble you cause. the DOT bear can do whatever he wants. its still the truck drivers responsibility for his/her times, not the customer. you're fighting a losing battle.............

I'm not a company driver. After all the horror stories I doubt I could subject myself to that abuse. -
And it's YOUR responsibility to get a truck unloaded in a reasonable amount of time and not hold him/her up all day till they are out of hours............ -
oh...........an o/o then...........???
-
no, its not my responsibility. i am the yardman/administrative assistant for a driver leasing company that has a contract for our customer. i follow my customers rules..............
wanna be MY friend now too.................

O/O leased to Landstar pulling a flat. Maybe a step in 2007.
There are a few customers of Landstar that I WILL NOT do business with. Also a couple of Landstar agents that I won't call. -
ok, as an o/o YOU do have some say in what you do, go, etc. but the "average" company driver has to "just take it"............
furthur, i have PM the admin to either say something here, or lock up this thread, as there are way too many "CB Rambo's, or Board Rambo's", that just don't get the whole CUSTOMER SERVICE CONCEPT, and following the rules set forth by THE CUSTOMER.............NOT THE DRIVER........
