This is for any Wal Mart Drivers but especially those who work out of the Raymond NH DC.

I have an interview there in a couple weeks and before I decide to jump ship where I am I am wondering a few things:

What exactly do you get for benefits and how much do you pay per week.

You are paid by the Mile? How much to start and when does it increase?

I saw another post that said 10 hour breaks are paid?, how does that work if true.

Out of the Raymond NH DC how much area do you cover?

I was told the job was 5 day on/2 day off.

    Do they ever lay off?

I ask because I live over 200 miles away from there and am trying to decide if it would be worth it for me to commute that far every week.

Everything I have heard about being a Wal Mart driver sounds like it would be worth it, but I would like to know from Wal Mart Drivers first hand

    Thanks,

I work out of Raymond.I've been here 10 year's & comute 135 mile's. As a rule of thumb we don't discuss pay BUT I will say it's worth it.Out of Raymond we cover the lion's share of New England. It's not unusual to wind up working out of ny,pa,de,sometime's va. It depend's on where they need equipment. Hope this help's some

If you can get on with Wal-Mart you are set!!The drivers will not and cannot publicly discuss their pay.But it is GOOD!

KY24 -Who are you driving for now? The grocery part of WMT is really taking off, and alot of our drivers on the GM side are transferring to grocery dc's. Good luck to ya and have a safe and happy New Year!

    Every thing he just said

And it's the largest mens daycare center in the country ...
I got booted from 6066 hoptown KY back in late 2008 when this big groc push started ...

I personally liked my time there ... But would not ever go back

I was bitter when I lost my job ... But it's now like a ton of bricks lifted off my back
