If they fired you over a "preventable" non accident with no damage and no police report I'd look into getting some unemployment money from them but I'd definitely challenge anything they tried to put on your record.

If they called it an accident then maybe they are right and maybe that's why your back and neck just started hurting.

 

Here's a question. I work for a specific carrier. This company hauls a lot of freight into and out of the Chicago area. There is one LTL company in Chicago where our trailers are constantly curbing tires when turning right onto a specific road due to the fact it was not originally made for trucks to begin with and the red light setup. Trucks hauling pup trailers and doubles can make this right turn with no problem but our 53' trailers and the trailers for the intermodal company next door cannot make this right turn without curbing the tires (even with tandems all the way forward). My question is who should I bring this up to? The company I work for or the city of Chicago? I have noticed recurring patterns when coming across damaged trailer tires and 95 percent of the time they usually originate out of the same areas like this

 

Those administrators do that to look like they’re doing their job. They’re idiots.

Exactly. I can’t imagine with all the technology we have available to us today that someone would go to a new place without scouting it out first. That would stress me the hell out.

 

This happens occasionally. Personally, I wouldn't say anything at all if there was no damage. No need jeopardizing your job with something so minor.
