Best of luck to you. There is life after trucking. I missed it for awhile after I quit. Although I wound up driving a straight truck until my driving job went away. Now I'm security at the place I drove for.
Getting home every night to me is priceless. In a couple of weeks I'll buy my wife flowers for our 35th wedding anniversary. One of the small joys in life I look forward to. I'm a simple man with simple needs.
You write like you have some good sense about you. I'll bet you've already got a plan in place. Good luck.
