    This is my preferred way for troubleshooting, finding air leaks, and shop work. Shop air coupler into a ball valve into a JIC adapter to screw into the bellows hose.

    If I've got a dead one I need to get moved or loaded on the lowboy it's the quickest and easiest way considering where I'm at and what I've got to work with.

    can the fittings be found easily or something I’d have to order? Some people I’ve talked to say you should go in the air dryer? Anyone have pictures of what the fittings look like and where to connect? Do you have to manually shut the shop air off or will it pop off when full?

    Good way to air trk up. Most shop air compressors can be fitted with a regulator you can dial back. Pressure in the compressor will be like you say at 160 but after regulator it will be what you set it at. I have a ball valve on one of my tanks. Can hold a air blow gun on it and air up trk..takes awhile but gets enough in to release brakes etc.
