Hope you guys can help me I have a 1992 kw W900 n14 problem is that is not boosting over 15 psi and during idle It will jump from 800 rpms to 900 but it does not do it all the time also if the I turn the truck off and on it will start boosting just fine until I get to the highest gear then it drops back to 15psi no more sometimes even lower

If it were me I’d change fuel filters and check/ blow out the air filters first. Always start simple. Next, I’d get the ecm scanned for electrical faults. If no faults show up I would replace the fuel lines. It really sounds like a fuel feed line is collapsing and starving it for fuel once in awhile. Also- make sure the vents on the fuel tanks work. If all that checks out then you’re into the world of checking grounds and looking for chafed wiring on the engine harness- good luck!

Check tps for volts and at the time that I was having issues it read 3v even with throttle fully open so I change the tps today and it still did the same thing I already change fuel filter and check lines for holes and nothing so I am guessing is going to be electrical any other advice? Thanks for the help

Have you load tested the power wire for the ecm?
Confirm voltage to fuel shut off solenoid.

Just for future knowledge, is that in the pump?

Also there is a check valve in the fuel fitting that is in the ecm cooling plate that tends to get restricted with debris. the fitting is on the outlet side of the cooler plate, remove the fuel line and the fitting and blow it out.

I will check the shutoff solenoid next . I already check that little filter and is good I also check that check valve on the cooling plate and it was good l. I am thinking that if I am reciving only 3v to the sensor than it should be a problem between the ecm. Is there anything else that could fail and make the sensor get 3v ?
