Could be a rub allowing voltage to drop, partially broken wire or corrosion in the harness somewhere.
Could also be a bad ecm. @xsetra i think has replaced the ecm once or twice.

I did change my ECM, twice.
First time I didn't realize what happened until trying to start truck for 2 days.
I arced my jumper cable on the ECM. Fried it.
2nd time loaded with oversize got the dreaded red dash light, yellow CEL and the buzzers and code 111.
Pulled off to a truck stop. Took ECM off, got a cab to Cummins bought a new one. Back to truck. Was good to go in about 2 hours.
Sunrise I was down the road.

Op problem doesn't sound like ECM. I was told either it works or it doesn't. No in between. Maybe a corroded pin from harness?

Check the ground from ECM to block, it has a fuse.

When I have idle or erratic throttle, I first check fuel filter, fuel lines.
    Eps by the accessory drive.

Isn't boost a turbo issue? Maybe a CAC leak.

    062 Thanks this.
