    My first thought on this topic, was it near any of the spots where they did the under ground nuclear tests? We have a documentary coming up on Foxtel, so Hope to be able to watch it.

    they have some of the worlds largest natural gas deposits would be my guess
    one near Kazakhstan has been on fire for like a decade or more because they threw a grenade into it

    pretty sure yamal is where they're doing special artic military training also
