I got out of there just in time. Ran full speed until like 15 miles from Oakley Kansas where it got pretty icy. Went 40ish no prob. Got lucky and had a UPS driver pull out of one of the front spots right as i showed up lol.
I kinda like that run, what about you?

It didn't snow too bad in Pueblo, the roads were pretty clear. Some of the other Climate drivers came after me and they said it was miserable crossing in from Kansas. I ended up deadheading to Platteville for some organic milk to Columbia. About 300 more miles, I'm in there.

Getting unloaded in new century. Headed to sycamore Illinois after I’m unloaded and reloaded here. 2400 miles and some change on recaps. I know I can do better than that

You've got 2400 miles going into tomorrow? You're having a really good week! If they send you to Milwaukee to reload and you bring back Coke, that's going to put you at about 2900 roughly

A lot of the reefer runs I used to do were over 1000 miles in length plus. I’m just getting used to these 500-900 miles trips I like to run 600 miles a day.

I do sometimes. Many days I'm cool running 500 or so a day. You like the long hauls? Like the ones that are 1300 plus

Yeah that’s kind of what I was used to and I did 700 miles a day in a 70 mph truck.

The most I ever recorded in a day here was 670. That happened once though, and it was on a weekend. I'm cool with how things are here though. A driver can run well past 3000 miles weekly without having to run 600 daily. I need to get up. I've got a short run to Madison, WI
