I rented a 16' U-Haul truck for one day and cost was $39.00

I rented a 12’ from budget. It’s $30 day, and .55cpm. Only $5 more per day than a cargo van. Same mileage charge, though it will burn a little more gas. I think with total mileage of 110, total with fuel will be less than $135, for 24 hrs. U haul used to have a maintenance problem with one way rentals. Being franchised, maintenance got overlooked. I’ll never rent a trailer from them. Too many seen on the shoulders, with a burned up bearing. Local rentals may be better. Used to be franchises in the most unlikely places. Used car lots, Farms, Gas Stations. Lol. Anywhere.
