Could you imagine. Buy a loaded Limited and then have to wait 3 months for the modules to show up so you can take it home.

i live by a few simple rules...

    1) i do not wait in line to eat at ANY restaurant, no matter how great the place is

cuz i wait for no food, food waits for me

    2) i do not play the bidding game on anything that is in short supply

cuz, there are other things IN supply that i can buy

    3) i will not even consider ordering up a new truck, or car, and be told i have to wait

cuz i got the money, or a great credit background, where i can simply walk out (and i have in the past) and buy something on the lot, and drive it home.

vehicles are nothing more than transportation, i can get from point A to point Z, and still look good doing it, cuz i'm a handsome devil in ANY THING i drive, ride, or sit in, or on.....(motorcycles)

my wife told me so, and also told me that IF i ever have another lady on the back of my motorbikes? then she had better get me home before dinner.....

    i don't have motorbikes anymore.....

The microchip is hurting everyone-some more than others. Ford just announced that Mustang will be stopped temporarily. Also rental car agencies are in a bad position as well. Remember Hertz having a “fire sale” a few months back??

GM seems to have been hit the hardest, just looking at the lots. Hastings, Grand Island, Sioux Falls, Pierre, Crete. They don't have any inventory to speak of.

We're turning into Cuba already. Pretty soon everybody will be driving antique vehicles because we can't get anything else.

I guess that'll be just another sign that the commies have totally taken over.

Nobody even questioning why these simple electronic components aren't manufactured here in the US.

Imagine the boost a company would get if they just kept rolling out their vehicles because they actually had control of their own components and made them right here! Yet none of them do.

    ####ing hilarious ineptitude.

A friend told me today kw of omahas lot looks pretty sparten too.
Makes me wonder what the mint low mile 2013 half ton silverado I bought a year ago for 16k is worth now? ...not that I would sell it .

They all (meaning govt types) seemed to think the suppliers would just shut down and wait for production to restart. Morons don't have a clue what it costs to sit idle.

It's going to be a very costly unintended consequence before this is over.
