I was dry van OTR at the time (everything east of the Mississippi). Had two trucks during my tenure there. 1st one was a 2013 Cascadia and the second was a 2015 Volvo.

I'm so glad I dodged this bullet. I got fired from my old job ages ago for having 2 minor incidents(broke hood mirror + scratched truck), and it seemed like Western Express was the only place that was going to hire me. Every other job said needed 6 months safe driving. Western Express said I would've had to been with a trainer for 1 freaking month even though I already had a year of experience by that point. No way in hell was I riding with a trainer again especially if I'm not even learning anything new. They also didn't even have a terminal in my state(it was removed) which meant I would have had to pay for parking anytime I took hometime. I was getting desperate, but thankfully at the last minute I found a sweet local job. I told their recruiter I found something else, and I kid you not, the guy tried to convince me that I wasn't actually going to be hired at the local job and that it was a fluke. They then tried contacting me atleast 20+ times for an entire month straight but I just ignored the calls. I don't even want to know how bad things would've been if I went with them.

    Lonesome and mjd4277 Thank this.

In georgia. they used to have a terminal here, which was the whole reason I even considered them. I asked the recruiter if the terminal was still there just to make sure..since it shows up on Google maps and nope, they lost it. Nashville terminal is 4hr drive from where I live

That must’ve been the Atlanta terminal. From my understanding that terminal was originally in Birmingham,Alabama but it moved because the neighborhood there was crime ridden.
