KAG Food Products info needed

Based upon reviews in this forum, you can do better. Plus, I have a review of someone I trust implicitly... and he left.

 

I said it before and I'll say it again, everybody doesn't want the same thing out of life!
If everybody would only work for that one perfect company (which doesn't exist) than that one company could pay minimum wage, and still have a waiting list. There isn't a single company that is best for everyone, just as there isn't a driver who's best for every company, and where some would be satisfied, others would be upset. EVERY company has drivers who hate it, many still work for that company because of the wages. There's many happy people driving for JB, Schneider, and Swift.
KAG isn't perfect, some view it as the worst, others see it as good enough to work for. Some see it as just another step in their career.I'm relatively happy with them, hauling gas. I don't know your situation, I don't know anything about the food grade side. The best thing is to talk to drivers out of the terminal where you'll be working. Get their views, good and bad, and make your decision from there.

I did work for KAG and would not do so again. Remember to ask about the upper management not just the local. I'd rate the local management as great to work for but policies are set by upper.

 

Kag is a plague on the bulk hauling universe..... they swam a market and destroy every account worth doing.

 

Gasoline, Ethanol, Jet A and pump jobs every now and then. Worked for KAG West out of San Jose. Started with Beneto but KAG bought them out.
Downhill from there.
