Research the affiliate. Montgomery had the affiliate thing prior to blending with 'Leakin Leaman. I saw it, briefly where The OO was very happy but didn't mind less than sterling equipment. the affiliates were small tank carriers that franchised instead of loosing things due to rising insurance costs, etc. so many remain their own gig while some become part of the system. Look before you leap.

 

What's the best way to research them? I tried google but all that came up was their DOT info.

 

You know how it goes it works for some & it does work for others. I'm with them on the corporate side out of coraopolis pa 159. The bonus was 15k paid out in 90 days no issue with that. I've pulled some loads out of the Bridgeport terminal. Right now it is working for me(except slow truck & that cms). I've got a friend on the owner operator side out of gary in. If I can shed some light no problem.
