No sympathy

i remember that accident, i just forgot how many years ago it was.

 

It's completely possible he didn't think it was serious enough to possibly wreck the truck in an escape ramp. Maybe he thought he could make it to a flat, or maybe he was completely freaking out and missed the ramp. How are we supposed to know?

 

I remembered that it looked like he was on a flat, which was why I suggested that, but wasn't 100% so I didn't commit to it by saying " he may have thought". Lots of people are absolutely terrible in crisis situations and erratic behavior can be attributed to a mind that's confused and searching. Like I said we may never know exactly. I do know that chosing the escape ramp is not an easy thing. They are known to completely destroy truck and trailer and I imagine many drivers would want to avoid it if possible.

 

The whole language requirement has never been enforced. The DOT, Texas DMV should also be sued IMO.
