which is exactly why I sold mine and drive this one. We buy 10k gallons at a time and run hard and go home.

525 Cummings, 13 spd, 355 rears, 24.5 tires, 2200 rpm. I honestly don't know how fast it will run, I've had it up 110 mph @ 2000 rpm. That was fast enough for me. I figure that extra 200 rpm will take it up to 115 mph, on the gps.
alds and cgilliland Thank this. -

My company has both ungoverned trucks and ones stuck at 70.
ungoverned truck= less stress.
No more guys playing road warrior up and down the hills or etc.
Put the hammer down and pass, slow to reasonable speed and just cruise along.
companies set the trucks at 65 not for fuel but for insurance. Too many guys wanna get up and make a sandwich while their trucks running down the freeway -
Mine goes 72 and very rarely do I need it to go much faster. I’m not in a hurry.

The worst thing about a 65mph truck is the other 65mph trucks. Not all go the same speed, not all have the same weight. Most guys are dickheads and will hang you out in the left lane forever rather than just concede the spot. If someone tries to slow pass me I just kick the cruise off and let them by. Adds 30 seconds to my trip.

but I believe if a few sheckles appear under the table at BYOB&CBD, ol' Ardis can work his magic on one of those 3 bunk 'Shakers, and maybe get 68 MPH out of it!TB John and LtlAnonymous Thank this.
