    Im assuming no air preheater?

Try this, shoot 3-4 seconds, crank 8 seconds, then shoot about 1 second and go crank 5 seconds, itll suck doing it yourself, but its doable, it just wont be quite so aeroselized

    Gix1k Thanks this.

Why not just pump the primer pump on top of the filter?? Thats why its there.

If the primer pump fills the filters, why not pull them off, fill and put them back on?

You can if you fill them correctly. I can’t remember if cat filters from the outside in or the inside out but ether way you run the risk of getting contaminated fuel to the pump and injectors.

You fill them from the smaller holes on the out side...

Yeah you can't put empty filters on a cat and expect it to run. They say not to pre fill the filters because you run the risk of getting dirt or junk in the clean side of the filter which would go right to the injectors and that could obviously be bad.

I've never had trouble priming my cat with the primer pump. Take bleed screw all the way out then screw back in just enough to keep it from falling out. Pump the primer for a minute or two until you see fuel flowing freely from plug with no air bubbles. Tighten bleed screw back up and pump until the primer is hard. Start truck

I’m back in business!!! Was able to get someone to hit the button while I sprayed ether in. Started up after a couple sprays.
New sensors are in and truck runs fantastic!!!! Two months of dealing with this and it’s solved. Thanks so much for all the help. This place has the answers and you all are greatly appreciated!

Youve not had my truck then, but maybe i should just replace the primer on it....

Theres correct ways to fill the filters of course but i dont like telling people to do that because i dont know how much they know about it in the first place... that said my truck almost never had an issue with my filling the water seperator and then itd usually start without ether, take about 4 or 5 rounds of 10 seconds cranking though

Ive always filled my filters with atf, never had a problem and it cranks right up. Whats your thoughts on why to never do that? Fyi, I do not have a hand primer, and its a royal pain trying to get it cranked with the bleed off method.

Would you happen to have the part number for your two sensors?

I’d like to try replacing the ones for my C15 as well.
