Unless you got the money to pay em off, you better ride out that contract man.....bonuses are subjective anyway. Now the mileage pay, and them not paying you correct each week, that's the bigger gripe. You should converse with someone...CONVERSE, don't CONFRONT.
GoneButNotForgotten Thanks this. -
There might also be a way he can buy his way out of the contract. Maybe even by paying over time. Yes it would suck to give them money after they shorted you, but it might still be less distasteful than making them even more money by staying.
As far as OP's resume goes, it's best to get at least six months in if you can stomach it. Or at least a total of 12 months between your first 2 companies.lovesthedrive, snowmantrucking101 and CrappieJunkie Thank this. -
Most states a verbal agreement supercedes witten contract. You wanna pay lawyer you might be able to. They count on poor broke people not to challenge "company policy". State law does.
There are non legal ways. I witness a chrome .45 layed on a owners desk. Informed him his account was due, today. He paid, and we fired him as a customer. I was a simple bystander. -
Ya but there needs to be evidence of the verbal. Video, audio, eyewitnesses, etc. The evidence on the piece of paper supercedes one person's sayso.lovesthedrive and jamespmack Thank this.

Yes, but they can't prove the recruiter didn't say it either. He no longer works for them. It would get dirty and long. But some people have won. Some have lost.slow.rider Thanks this. -
Few courts recognize a need to prove a negative, since it's impossible to do. And if it gets dirty and long, then it'd likely cost more than the $1500 in legal fees. Which might well still be worth it to some folks, of course.lovesthedrive Thanks this.
