You cant see the forest for the trees.

If the crime is heinous enough that they can never be redeemed, they ought to be executed, not looked at as subhuman for the rest of their lives.

Im going to go out on a limb and say youre certainly not a christian bhuddist or muslim

The former two because it is not your place to judge (volumes more could be written on how impossible your stance is indefensible in christs name), the latter would have understood what i meant in an instant.

That more or less leaves atheist.
Justify your view philosophically from there then because its not a viewpoint ive heard yet.

The people that will want to drive at 18 will likely already be driving trucks without a CDL before they turn 18. Everyone acts like it’s an absurd thought that because someone can get a CDL at 18 now that maybe they should be able to cross an imaginary line in the dirt.

I would’ve given anything to grow up in a big state like MT or TX but instead I was stuck in SD and had to sneak around when I left the state.

When I date or am trying to date a younger woman? A line I use on her is...”come on, aren’t you tired of the weed and Red Bull smelling frat boys and ready for a real man” works every time. 18-21 year olds are not lining up to drive big rigs. Trust me on this. In the few that do, They’ll run back home crying to mommy after about two weeks out on the open road.

my religion is frankly, none of your business.

if you do not like my stance on the criminal element, or anything else, you can simply put me on ignore.

libs and snowflakes make me sick. we need real hard core stances on who can and cannot get into trucking or any other regulated industry, or own a gun, for the safety of all, not to satisfy the snowflakes.

Oh, so your political stance is of the utmost importance and must be forced on those unwilling to agree with you, but religious affiliation doesnt have any bearing, interesting but telling take. How convienent for you.

You dont like my opinion because its measured and consistent with my worldview, am i "lib" or "snowflake" because i advocate execution for a crime that you prefer to simply allow a person to live out their miserable lives in subhuman status? Mine is clearly more humane, is that what makes me a soft person?

Christian, nailed it. You dont like people pointing out your hypocrisy. Jesus, big fan of never forgiving wasnt he? Is HE a "soft lib snowflake" in your mind?

I dont need or want to put you on ignore, thats the path to never talking with anyone you disagree with, never being exposed to anything but the stagnant thoughts in your own head, its lazy and intellectually dishonest, it shows you have no ability or desire to defend your own ideas. Thats the path that has you so riled up that you think no other viewpoint is valid. Its the act of a child slamming a door on the reality of the outside world, unready to confront it.

Good luck, i leave you with this as food for thought. First, "christian" means "christ follower" or "christ-like"
Secondly, my father once had me run a thought experiment to see if i was or was not ready to dedicate myself as a christian, "lets assume that you had a random sample of say 12 people who didnt know you, they looked at your actions and words for the past year, would they be able to convict you of being a christian by that?" If this is a representative sample, i can only assume that is not the case, you hold christ's cardinal virtues in contempt... how ironic that its the atheist (myself) pointing this out.

And if you were an atheist or otherwise i gave you an out and offered you a chance to convince me of your baseline reasoning as to why you were right. You had no interest in that, simply more proof you prefer the lazy route of ignoring people and ideas that differ from your own shoddily constructed ideas

Thirty years ago I bought a 1975 Lincoln Town Car for $500. A few weeks later I got pulled over and searched. The officer reached his arm elbow deep into the slot where the radio used to be, dug around and pulled out a 35mm film canister 1/4 full of marijuana, which it sounds like you think means I should be disqualified from ever having a CDL.

Got searched? Why? Did you give him consent? Never give consent to any LE officer to search you. It doesn’t matter if you have anything to hide or not. It’s your right to say no.

Dude, nobody is lining up to drive big rigs. You seem to be arguing that because they don't all want to, therefore none of them should be allowed to. But that same non-logic would disqualify everybody.

Lol, as if that would stop the process longer than 15 minutes, they call in search warrants over their radio and theyre rubber-stamped instantly.

And NOW you pissed the officer off, good luck with that

Shooting from the hip, my guess is slowrider was stopped for speeding being a young kid in a cheap ratty car.
Or a way too nice car for his cherubic face.
