GP transco?

When the forklift driver hits the accelerator instead of the brake.

 

2000 miles a week? Lol. I just did 2000 miles in 3 days.

 

Oh yes you do fine drivers for failed DOT Inspections

 

I talked with GP Transco about driving for them. No thank you.

 

What was the issue?

 

I've been job hopping for 7 years.
Most every company..same story.
Promise a fair wage..then cheat you whenever possible.
Gp transco has not lied to me.
Submitted receipt for paid parking, load locks, etc..reimbursed that same week.
Ask them to run me through the house..no problem.
Ask them to schedule me to run nights..no problem.
All my loads deliver first thing in the am.
I have plenty of time to grab next load..shutdown..and run nights again.
They let me run my truck how I like to run.
Finally found a home.

Told her I had a ticket for driving in the right lane in a construction zone.
She said: That’s unsafe driving. We can’t hire you.
Crete thought it was a real nothing of a ticket.
I wouldn’t have gotten it. But the Barney fife head of safety wouldn’t give me the dash cam video. Obviously showed construction zone ended. I had a judge I had to prove my innocence.

 

They are strict about driving records with onboarding but I’m not sure about that one. With that said your comment made it sound as if it was something terrible with the company. I would probably talk with a different recruiter. Only lady I know of in recruiting is no longer there.

 

That was last year. I’m pretty happy where I’m at now.
I’ve heard some really stupid stuff out of people working administration in companies.
