Sweet. I haven't had a beer since August. I'm in desperate need of one. I was down in Columbia yesterday picking up 42k lbs of pasta. You anywhere near there? One of our regular customers, so I'll get back.

:biggrin_25514: AND ONE BIG HEART!!!!!!! old school is a breed they dont teach in these drivers schools ,the passing of the torch so to speak from father to son, checking on a driver when he brokedown on the side of the road,or lending a hand to a rookie, trying to teach him to be a better person in the industry! pppr i met a few great people there in ga when i was in madison, gentalman named (hickory) ,my alternator was going out comeing out of humer ,la and made my was thru ga heading for baltamore, called him up and did my 10hr brake there and was there a couple of hours and after work he came installed the alternator, not that i couldnt do it my self but ,like he said,,,i like helping truckers ,love working on trucks, and in todays economy everyone needs to help each other,,he charges me $237,for the alternator and i thru him a $100 bucks for helping a old guy out lol ,,,,,,oh and buy the way, i made a good friend and we talk from time to time on line till this day!!!

PP you have started a monster here, I hope things are well with you, but I know I am jumping in the middle of a conversation on your tread, but with the learning the hard way of being an O/O what can you tell me about load boards that you have aquired since taking the big step into the deep unknown? I've been looking on Get loads and with previous reading on the site I know there are cutthroats & decent brokers to be had. But with the few examples of the pay-offs on the loads it dosen't look to bad. feed me your thoughts since jumping in the big seat. Thanks Mike
