Heartland has always offered fairly decent mileage, the problem is their average length of haul is about 700 miles. If you want to be home a lot with a minimal paycheck, they are it. I left when they bought Gordon and went to Interstate Distributors, darned if they didn’t buy them next. I stayed for a while, but the $1,000 a week checks were just pitiful.

Not at all. I was Otr before e logs, ran outlaw. Couldn't do it now, no place to park. Hours of service sucks, linehaul it doesn't matter. Drive to destination terminal and head for hotel. Did like otr though, this is better.

 

What kind of money are you making linehaul?

 

Can we still over night at Lexington Whse?

 

I made a little less than $95 last year. If I work all year I would make $109 but chemo got in the way.

 

So about Lexington whse, can we still overnight have a 6 am appt. I’m just going to check in when i Get there tonight at 17:00. Last time there they had signs saying no overnight along with a security guard.

 

Last couple of times I went there I parked here. You can access from inside or from Lexington Ave down the street marked Fisher. That label is wrong though, the street sign has a different name. One block down or before the main entrance depending on which way you approach. Not sure if my info is still current.

 

I parked in the Midwest holding lot the lot by the cafe is a disaster.
