What tanker companies actually fix your truck and not put you in another ?

So you would rather sit around not making money instead of keeping working?
Yes I know moving to a new truck sucks, but so does being away from home not making money.

 

Depends where you broke down.
If truck broke down near terminal, why just not to give you another truck for a week or 2, if you broke down in a middle of nowhere then pretty much every company will provide you a hotel. Simply cause mechanins in repair shop won't let you stay inside a truck

 

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if you're having to ask this question then I think you might need to be looking for a company that takes better care of its equipment so that the equipment doesn't break down enough for this to be an issue.

Also, if it's really that big of a deal then why not just ask to take a few days worth of home time in that particular city while the truck is in the shop? It's a good excuse to get a 34.

 

Can someone suggest a company that will pay me to sit in a hotel doing nothing, while generating zero revenue for me them, and also provide year round housing?110k per year minimum. Thanks in advance.

 

What do you think would happen if you had a wreck and your truck is demolished plus you’re a thousand miles from home terminal?

You could always become the disgusting guy (every company has one or two), just stop showering and leave cups full of pee and stuff in the trucks they let you use. In no time to at all they won’t dare let you use another truck and they sure as hell won’t ask anyone to use yours.
