If you are a super new taxi driver, the taxi company will give you the crappiest car that they have until you prove to them you are a safe driver. Does it happen to new trucker drivers too. Should I expect the worst?

Wow. Thanks man!
I was looking at this. Mouth watering stuff.
truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
That's pretty slick, but keep in mind that a lot of the trucks will have been beaten on for six months by some guy who couldn't hack it in the industry, and so yours may have some rough spots, otherwise known as character development. Also, as you look around and acclimate yourself to the industry, keep in mind that most of the guys making the big bucks are driving "blank" trucks - without any corporate artwork splashed across the sides. That should be your next goal after you get your time in, is a truck without corporate art.

If u start with a mega then u generally will only get a truck thats a couple years old but it will be the crap of the fleet . until u prove ur not a hack driver and can take care of your equipment. Although they could put u in a brand new truck on day 1

No. A trucking company will give you whatever tractor they have available. If you sign with a company that runs nice equipment, like Wilson Logistics, then you are going to be seated in a nice tractor.
Sign on with Western Express and your tractor may have a few dents, scratches, missing fairings, broken bumpers, and damaged cab extenders.
However, etched into sleeper berth cabinets are the phone numbers of some of the best criminal defense lawyers around the country.D.Tibbitt, bzinger, Hazmat Cat and 5 others Thank this.
