If you are going to run a desktop, get a ups. That will solve future electrical problems.

Edit: your old one prolly just has a fried power supply. Easy and cheap to replace.

 

My Asus Rog Zephyrus is a beast hehe great for playing games because the Refresh Rate is 60 and when playing games you want it set at 60 Frames Per Second and your FPS can’t exceed your Refresh Rate; 4K HD screen

 

Rofl it’s like Horsepower and alike, but for electronics; some computers just aren’t made up to par to handle certain applications such as gaming; for example if you were trying to play a game at 60 Frames Per Second and your computer only has a Refresh Rate of 30, then the game won’t run smoothly, it’ll be like watching a choppy movie and will likely crash

I haven't played games in years. The last console I owned was a ps2. The last pc game I played seriously was WoW. I wouldn't mind some geeky in person gaming. I would like to find a gaming center, but I live in the middle of nowhere. Wouldn't mind a chess club or DnD or the like. Because I'm that guy...lol.
