When they dispatch you. Try to get to next terminal as fast as you can to get another dispatch. They will put you to bed when you get somewhere and hours are way low.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

Gotcha. Yeah when I was regional, I never really stopped. So that shouldn’t be a problem.
I just haven’t drove a stick in like 2 years, so that’ll be interesting too. -

What do you all do for internet? Thinking of bringing a laptop with me

I used to bring my laptop with me. I actually still do and I'm home every other day right now. I'm in Dallas and it's hooked up as I type this. I have 2 phones. My main phone is for talking ish to @jtaran06 and the other is for an internet source. I have Verizon & TMobile.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

I just carried my phone and my tablet. Both have unlimited data. Used it when signal was good. If I ever laid down in bug tussel and had bad signal which was rare I just used hotel wifi. Porn buffered pretty bad though.Bob Dobalina, LPjunior1970 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -

Well, long time no talk. Been at Estes for almost 4 months now. It’s not bad, I’m a Wednesday to Sunday start. Originally Tuesday start. Make about 1900 a week, give or take. I always hear about drivers doing 3k miles a week, and I’m assuming it’s because they are either doing 6 days every week, or central just hates me . Anyways, hopefully you all are doing wellLtlAnonymous Thanks this.

So, sadly enough I don’t see 2k often. Usually around 2600 miles and probably 10 drop/hooks a week. So about 1850. Some weeks were crap where I only got 2350, freights been slow it seems
