Dana/Liquid Transport: Not Happy.

Is this in Morrow at that overcrowded tank wash? You could go 2 miles around the corner and apply at Heniff (formerly Superior). They are not perfect but you'll make a few extra bucks. I think it was almost $0.60 per mile loaded when I left earlier this year.

 

I agree, I was actually hired by Suttles. Suttles was 80-90% company drivers and Dana bout same % o/o. When the two companies merged, the Dana model started to take over. I met lots of happy O/O’s but company guys were definitely not part of Ronnie Dana’s plan it seemed .

Owner operators are profit for the company.

Company doesn't have to pay a driver, pay for a truck, plates, insurance or fuel.

Dana does not pass along any fuel discount that may be gotten when using company fuel card.

So yeah they really like owner operators.

I been with DANA since January 2025. I'm outta Pueblo, Colorado. Here O/Os get paid 2.29 the mile(Just Changed this week), that's fuel surcharge included, good detention. If you fuel pilot Flying J you get 15cents back. Clean Inspection bonus $ 25 gift card plus t-shirt/hat. It's a really good company. Elogs is AI MOTIVE. Running Systems is better $ but away from home. %62/65 of the load plus fuel surcharge. Layover is paid well, especially when you have to steem or heat the load for a day. My advice don't come here with high debt, because the switch will hurt. I do get alot of home time, sometimes 1 load per week, sometimes 2. If lucky 3. Funny thing is I was making more $ in hot oil 3257 outta Cheyenne WY(Jebro/Kniferiver) it was best paying job ever but real ####ty communication. At the moment I'm still being patient because Pueblo is great honest people. I'll update, best week has been $9,600.

 

What’s good detention ?

 

What do they charge for insurance, bobtail insurance, personal insurance, load insurance, base plates per week?

 

Places with potential consistent 2 - 4 hour lab samples you want good detention pay...

 

25 hr but they pay you, they don't wait till they get paid.
