$1 something a mile…….. thinking no

 

Loaded and mty.

 

They do pay loaded and empty miles. Yep 1.70 or something loaded and 1.45 or something empty. I forget exact numbers.
But all this " clean shaven " crap ? I believe that could result in a civil rights suit if someone chose to do so.

 

What I read on their website was they would try to get you home most weekends.

 

I ran end dump for a local for 4 years. About 48k. Only rock sand and salt.
Before that I hauled lots of dirt which here means sticky clay crap. Hard work . Made about 19 to 23k.
Then I got stupid and went to grain. Now I'm about 2 weeks from total bankruptcy.

 

Somebody better warn Disney, they have had that requirement for years.

 

It because they haul some hazmat. There is a chance you will need to put on a respirator to save your life. Also there is no one making you work there and how is not shaving a civil right? Every truck stop I go into over half you guy's need a shower never in my 40 years of trucking have I seen so many pigs. No excuse for this. Almost all tanker outfits I work for you had to be clean shaven and most chemical plants also have the same policy it is a safety policy to save lives.

 

Anyone had any trouble getting a deleted truck leased on??

 

Only thing most are concerned about is the year(2000 and newer) and can it pass inspection. Some companies want newer trucks never saw anything about emissions only one that run into California
