    Yep

I took one to Smyrna the other day

The Williamsburg DC has us picking up drop and hooks and taking empties back to Williamsburg

3 different destinations out of Williamsburg. I think the other 2 are in Virginia

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.

Thanks Mack. Still have it. Though I don’t ride much anymore. I bought it off the floor brand new in ‘03.

So, today’s adventure consisted of walking over to the Petro on the other side of the 10 freeway for a change of scenery. Got a call about 3:30 local time from the Detroit dealer. The MIA part is still MIA. It was too late to call into Richmond to let them know that come Thursday afternoon, if no part shows up, I’ll be flying home Friday morning, with or without their blessing, and stay home until they find this useless part for this useless truck. I’ve waited long enough, I’ve had it. If I hear one remark from anyone up the chain of command tell me otherwise, come next Tuesday, I’ll have a new job.

The Saint I’m married to who has been my saving grace through all this, is getting a little fed up. So far this has cost $1145 in hotel, $100 in food, $285 plane ticket, $25 Uber and my breakdown pay. I’m not concerned about getting reimbursed, I’m pissed off because they put trucks on the road with no parts available. I mean we’re talking about friggin metal clamp/gasket for Gods sake.

Yep. My inverter is acting up and I’m afraid to tell them because they probably won’t have a replacement and I will have to change trucks back in Jersey. Grrrrrr

Sounds like someone is a bit cranky and needs a timeout to go sit in his truck and cool the family jewels…

I’m sure that you’ll feel better if you do.

    I hear that it’s very Refreshing. :D

In another trucking milestone, I just had my very first full level 1 inspection, courtesy of the Ohio State Police. Passed with flying colors.

They pulled me over two miles from the Pilot in Chillicothe, where I was planning to get breakfast and use the bathroom. So that was kind of annoying. But other than that, it was uneventful.
