Any companies require Olympic level fitness?

Beer trucks and food service. A hand truck full of 6/10 cans will weigh 700lbs. You have to be strong and have loads of patience and stamina.

 

How about people skills? You know, to keep from strangling some of the customers that look on food service drivers as a source of free labor?

I’ve done flat bed work and food service. Food service without a lift gate is hard work. Unloading 20000 lbs by hand everyday down a ramp will give you a work out. I just left after three years. I’m 49 and moved to hauling gas.

 

Oh and tarpping and flatbed work is easy compared to food service.

That's a pretty hard job getting under there all day.
