Yes it helps your immune system prepare for the real disease. However, as mentioned above not all people need a vaccination. They are already equipped to fight it. The luck of the draw you might say. exactly, your immunity system is natural, not made up or caused by people. So if a vaccine can make it do it's thing, with non harmful dead virus, so be it, better than risking a potentially harmful living virus.
