Yup, Had oil dyno and blowby with full inspection. To be fair to MHC the physical engine itself has been rock solid and is running strong. Its mostly been the emissions system that has been killing me. Been dealing with #### like this.![]()

Then there were a handful of freak problems and oversights that were also missed....such as the fact my 5th wheel had some major issues which lead to it cracking and literally coming off my truck with the trailer.
And multiple recall parts which lead to some lovely road calls.

Also had a TON of electrical grimlins upto and including the required replacement of several wireing harnesses and ECM.

Wow, that's crazy. What are the first 3 pictures of?
-
Doser for the def, plate for said doser and my rear nox sensor which was being replaced for the 2nd time in as many months.JonJon78 Thanks this.
-
What brand of 5th wheel is that?
-
Most of the markings are worn off but im 80% sure its a holland. Reason it failed is someone used a non galvanized pin as a make due repair. Said pin rotted out and finally failed.JonJon78 Thanks this.

How is any of that MHC’s fault?

SO WE HAVE 1 DEALER POSTED... Am i right?

As i said most of the details are in my main thread. That said there was a lot of damage that was painted over or hidden. The declined warranty work on items clearly covered in my warranty paperwork. Stuff like that nox sensor they claimed they replaced and charged me as if they had when its pretty obvious its either used or the same one but cleaned. The bad wireing, the pinned breakers, the 200k mile jump when i had the ECM changed. The recalls they said had been done and had marked in the system as done i was then forced to PAY to have done. The refusal to do basic paperwork like temp tags so i could move it or the DoT inspection i paid for. And a host of other little things like that that to be fair they did do their best to make right.....after literally hundreds of hours on the phone though. Just a bad all around experince.

There are thousands of dealers across the country. If all you want to know is what and where I bought a 2017 Peterbilt 579 from Montana Peterbilt in Missoula MT. I currently have a 2022 Peterbilt 579 on order through Midwest Peterbilt in Lincoln NE.
I3IGBIRD26 Thanks this. -
If you bought aftermarket warranty most of those aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. If one place is giving you grief over factory warranty then go someplace else. If a part doesn’t have a core charge then always ask for the old part that has been replaced. I’ve never dealt with MHC but my brother got a new W9 from one of their branches and didn’t have any problems. However if I had a shop I felt wasn’t honest with me I would stop going back for more.
