I wouldn't worry about fuel mileage,I'd worry about not being able to get loads if regular flatbedding.
Probably not to big of an issue with the plethora of freight now, but may be when it slows down.

If you are already doing cross Canada stuff now I would build on that as much as you can, a lot of guys don’t like dealing with it, which is the things you need to pick up on.
as for weight, usually heavy stuff doesn’t pay well to begin with,
I would leave the diff where it is and just make sure it on 11r24.5s, will be the perfect combo at that point for the area/weightc.w Thanks this. -
thank you. are you saying the situation like the tractor is too heavy which cause less weight capacity on the trailer?

Not so fast. I've run my ISX between 1325 and 1450, and that's where she's happy.c.w Thanks this.

Yes, majority of standard loads are 47-48k. You'd be overweight with thatc.w Thanks this.

You have experience with cascadias why not stick with what you know? Our company runs them with all flatbed work all types of loads up to 90k oversized and regular flatbed work we haul loads up to 47k on regular (aluminum) tandem trailers. Need to be on top of weight distribution though.
The cascadias work fine dd15 dt12 40 rears 12.5 stears. Lots of guys & gals getting 1.5 mill km. Without inframe.
If your not doing heavy hauling on a regular basis I would pass on the truck but that's just me.
