I have an Ff983LX10 meritor front axle with unitized bearings. It needs wheel bearings. You can only buy them from Kenworth with permission from Paccar if it's an "emergency". Personally if I can grab the top of a tire and move it a half an inch in and out I would think it qualifies. Has anyone successfully rebuilt one of these? Or does anyone know of another solution? The axles spacing at 32.5 inch with a 5" drop makes it so there is nothing in the wrecking yards. Thanks for any help.

If you have a part number call around. Odds are you can find it.
International wanted $750 for a condenser and I found one 90 miles away for $260 at another dealer.Dino soar Thanks this. -
Experience with them better check spindle for damage. Worst #### thing on a truck. Along with all the sealed components. Fleets are to ####ing cheap to maintain equipment. So we get stuck with the ########.Dino soar Thanks this.

Okay, I cannot thank you enough. I just looked them up on Conmet and I believe they can do them for cheap in comparison. I will call them in the AM.Snailexpress Thanks this.

I would recommend that you find the crossover for a regular Hub with regular bearings that you can service.
If you service them correctly and you have the play set correctly, it's astonishing how long bearings can last. And your hub.Snailexpress Thanks this.
