I replaced the ECM (PMCI) on EPA 10 MX-13 last month. Had it next day, no freight and flashed it myself. Up and running the day we got part.

 

thanks, that is lot of options. we have this much simpler. i dont really feel that anything is missing.

i think primary reason for it was big cab. MB cab on 8x6 is not really big, they say big NO to my question if they can built larger cab.
on 8x6 engine and gearbox are raised upwards, dd16 is quite high engine due dohc. they put higher engine tunnel and different cab floor into cab., so there is not really any cab which could be adapted easy for this use (keep in mind any cab adaptation need lot of crash testing)
as for gcw, manufacturer have to give permit. mb will give you 500t for one tractor at low speeds up to 25kmh and flat terrain same as they do.

 

not that simple actually, they cut frame in half and raise front end of it, so frame has a step. they use hydraulic suspension to keep truck within 4m when empty.
they use custom built single speed transfer case.
conversion cost like 80000+€. too much, at MB difference between 8x4 and 8x6 is just a small portion of this

 

for most cases.....if parts are ordered till 3pm, they will arrive at morning, usually 8:8-30h. thn they are sorted by dealers and sent to them, they will get them till 2pm that day, while closest dealers will get them till 10am. some parts will get in 2-3days. if parts are not produced than this will take longer, in most emergency cases they might take them from production

 

DK is specialized in something i really like (not on this truck).
3way cable roll-off tipper trucks, that gives you super flexibility, especially with removable crane, they can afford this as their gcw is 123500lbs.

 

so scania is quite generous?
in germany i think most people have 30days.
here law minimum is 20days, i have 22, my brother 36.
we have about 15 national holidays, last year most of them were during weekends...

 

do you have info how many hyzon trucks are made?
seems like CH is way ahead of others in this field
