Sapp Bros in Omaha across from Werner usually has good food, so many original places have been closed lately. Of the three listed id usually choose iron skillet but they have gotten worse in time. Denny's coffee is horrible IMO

Used to also have one at the Tiki Oasis Truck Stop in Peru, Illinois but it's been closed since at
least 2005 or so. Why, I have no idea. Seems like an ideal location, off of I-70. -
Also the restaurant at the TA Express just outside of town. It's not your typical
TA, thank goodness, just a franchise. Which means it's cleaner, cheaper, and
has better food. -
Yes it does, there was a motel there too.bthomann Thanks this.

I loved the Tiki Oasis. Sure, they had their problems with lot lizards and the like over the years
but it wasn't as bad as say, Bud's in Indianapolis. I think the owners just wanted to retire and either
their adult kids didn't want to take it over or they got a really good price for the land.MTN Boomer Thanks this. -
I do allot of driving up and down 95. Quite a few years ago I happen to find Big Boy's. Til this day I will try to always stop their and get food. Also just love their free Parking. Great PlaceNumb Thanks this.
