Ecm cooling plate could have an air/fuel leak.
I have a section of clear plastic tubing I can put before fuel pump . Easy to see if air is getting in system.
Does your fuel line that connects to the filter base have an o-ring? That could be worn.

I might as well replace all of them because they all seem to had there days counted , what will be a good rule thumb for the life span of the fuel lines ?
-
Also I just checked the return tube on the fuel tanks and they do seem to have bubbles
-
Check the little screen in fuel pump.
jsnell and Fld1201994 Thank this. -
Did you double gasket the filter housing, or forget the gasket that goes on the threaded nipple?
Next remove housing or look very close from underside. They are know to crack. If your lines are over 7 years old and weather head, just change them.
If its the housing on pump, make sure you have a filter part number that has a stand pipe built in. Alot of filters for N14 cross reference to a FS1000. Not all that fit are equally the same.fordconvert and Fld1201994 Thank this. -
Update: I replaced the following cam sensor, ecm check valve , fuel pump screen and spring , replace the fuel filter inspected the fuel filter housing for cracks it seems fine…. Symptoms remain the same

I am not sure. When they become brittle and hard, its time to replace them.jamespmack Thanks this.

7 years on fabric steel braided lines is a good guidance. -
As others have suggested. Time to run it off a bucket of fresh fuel. Watching the return for bubbles. If problem goes away, you know your issues are before filter head. If problem continues. Its after filter head.
Simple yet effective diagnostics. -
I don't know why people insist on blindly throwing parts at something.jamespmack, Dino soar and Brettj3876 Thank this.
