I'm not wanting to tell you how to do your job... So take this how you want too....

When you decide to pull a tractor-trailer over... Make sure the operator of that tractor-trailer is aware that your wanting to pull him over.

I do not have have a rear window... I do not have a rear view mirror hanging from my windshield... When you center yourself on the rear of my trailer just a few inches from my rear bumper (just like you do with cars) I can not see you!!! I have no idea what your intentions are... Remember there is at least 53' from where I'm sitting to the rear of my trailer... All that I'm thinking is that your just another stupid 4 wheeler... I can not see your pretty blue lights flashing when your positioned just like you do when you pull over a 4 wheeler... Make yourself known & make your intentions known when you go to pull over a tractor-trailer... If you don't know how to pull over a tractor-trailer.... Then get on your radio & call somebody who knows how to do it properly....

    OK.... C apish?

Got pulled over for coming off Mont Eagle just a little too fast! Getting pulled for that didn't bother me. But the threat from the officer did. He said he could take me to jail for refusal to stop (apparently he was behind me for 7 or 8 miles). That when I told him if he wasn't tailgating me like a stupid 4 wheeler I probably would have known he was there.... I just thought he was drafting like they do in interstate nascar..... As soon as he stuck his nose over the zipper line, I saw that I was needing to pull over.

But the point of the matter is not the fact I got pulled over.... The point actually is that they need to take a different approach with a tractor-trailer. They can't use the same routine that they do with the 4 wheelers.

Well; sometimes them fools will get in front of you and brake check you to stop you. I never thought that was to smart either. Or pull you over on a narrow shoulder with cars going by 70 mph.

Ummm.... I guess you didn't see the point. It's not the fact that I got pulled over.... And no, I did not receive a ticket. It is the approach that was used to pull me over.

If you had a cop centered inches from your icc trying to pull you over, would you be able to see him?

I had one pull me over in California last month. I had a empty flatbed & had no clue he was trying to pull me over. His little blue lights were in the grill & he was also tailgating me like they do with cars... The only way I knew he was trying to pull me over is because my exit was right there. I exited & saw his pretty lights.

I got pulled over last Thur in Monroe, NY. Im comming North on old Rt 17 as 87 had a 6 mi back up. Im going under the posted speed limit. The office is sitting in the middle of the road, see's me gets out and points to me. Sssooo over I go. He askes for all the paper work. He hasent stated yet why he pulled me over. I hand him everything, as he looks it over I ask the million dollor qestion, "can you tell me why you pulled me over" His answer was a first for me "This is a homeland sucurity anti terrorist inspection". I pull propane. In the end he was a good guy, he told me we'll be seeing of of these kinds of check points. Anyone else run into this ??

My question is. If you know someone was on your bummer for 7+ miles. Why did you not do something about it. #### un-safe to allow that to happen. You should have have slow down and made him move. brake check him, Slid over a little on the shoulder, turn your CB on so you can hear about it. Some thing, Letting a 4 wheeling tail gate you for that long make you un-safe. And before you ask. Yes I keep them off my butt. Break checking work well. I did that on a cop last year. At first he was mad but after I explained why I did it. he said he was wrong and that I did the right thing.
