I usually get green lights. Every once in a while I get the red light, those days when they aggressively feel like checking weight on every truck. I did get a level 3 out in Colorado once. Every now and then the DOT sets up in the chain up area on US 160 heading out to Monte Vista. You'll get a chance to see there a lot as we haul a lot of potatoes. Quite the beautiful drive out that way.

The week killer load!!! I'm in Richmond, IN as we speak. I delivered in Mount Vernon, IL yesterday then went to Robinson to grab Hershey for Palmyra. I caught the most hell trying to hook to the loaded trailer. Our drivers tend to either drop them too high or too low. This time it was too low and I had so much difficulty getting under it. I would not hook til I repeatedly got out and cranked the landing gear down to elevate the trailer to a certain level. I was back there so long security thought I was trying to do a 10 there lol. 1 hr to do a drop and hook. Ridiculous. I'll get to Palmyra tonight and if the plan is to reload outta there I'll start back tonight.Lumper Humper, mdmgolfin and 57 model Thank this.

I am headed to PA now....this is actually the first company that I've ever worked for that allows drivers to use the PA turnpike without issue lol. They've given me a load to NJ and I've ran it all the way from New Stanton to wherever it ends in the Philadelphia area.Lumper Humper and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Ask as many as necessary, there ain't no such thing as too many questions, but there is a such thing as not asking any. @Professor No-Name has been here the longest out of all of us, and his experience and insight has totally helped me out a lot in my transition to working here nearly 2 years ago, still does and I definitely appreciate it. We all help each other best as we can, it's like my 2nd family for real.Professor No-Name, Lumper Humper, 57 model and 1 other person Thank this.

You guys are great. I am so looking forward to this.
Lumper Humper and bryan21384 Thank this. -
#### dude, that’s wild. I’ve only had to deal with one trailer that was dropped low, had to get a yard dog at Midwest DC to get under it so i could lower the landing gear lol.

Nothings ever easy is it? Taking a Hershey load to Lubbock. Stop in Joplin to fuel. As I’m doing so I discover my catwalk is covered in coolant from my reefer... yippeee

We were at the yard this morning. Put truck in shop around 7:30 an walked thru shop over to office. Wife's physical went well today. Found out from now on she is only required to get a stress test every 2 years. So last years would've apparently been good enough. So that's 5k we just ran up a bill on for a stress test she didn't need this year. Man that sucks but come next year it will be paid off an we won't have that cost again for a year after.dwells40, Lumper Humper, mdmgolfin and 1 other person Thank this.
