I think Prime Inc. would be your best bet.. -

RRS44 Thanks this. -
Just finished my first week of training at central in salt lake city. the rooms they put you in resemble a jail cell, with plain white brick walls and nothing else but two bunks. the top bunk is a metal bunk with a metal ladder leading up to it. not the easiest thing to get up and down.
today they put us in a hotel to make room for the new class that is starting tomorrow. if you have some sort of little portable tv/dvd player or even an alarm clock radio, bring it, as there isn't much to do in the little jail cell rooms that they put you in but stare at the wall. there is a microwave there but no fridge. they take guys to walmart in the company van in the evenings after class is over.
central seems like a professional company, a good way to get started in over-the-road trucking. most of the drivers that i've talked to at the salt lake terminal have not been with central for too long. central seems to be mostly just a training company, but if you're new to trucking it's a way to get your foot in the door.RRS44 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the info. With everything the way it is, I realize that I'm not going to make a ton of $$$ the first year and I am prepared for that. As I said in my last post, I saw the ad in the local paper and according to their website, they are supposed to be opening up a school about 75 miles from my house. Again, thanks for the info.
