Peterbilt adding surcharge after orders placed

I didn’t know Cummins engines were built in India.

 

Everything I see on the internet says the X12 and X15 are built in NY. And the 6.7 is built in Columbus, In.

 

It’s a shame they need to build a site when they had the perfect spot in Lordstown and another in Oshawa, Canada they shut down to outsource the work.

Yeah I saw. I also saw the one article that said NY was the x15 manufacturer. I should probably read further. Maybe the article I read was outdated.

 

I recall seeing China made parts on isx15. 2350 series. Think head says made in Mexico. Can't remember for sure on the block.

Does say assembled in New York I believe.

 

From what I read the superconductors come from India.

I just got hit with a $2500 for an order placed and signed in April. Truck is due to be delivered by Dec
