Thanks to all. I have all endorsements except passenger. I have a big decision to make but it’s exciting too. Got my eye on a few companies but want to make a good decision.

Most important is a company that respects you. And putting camera in your face is disrespectful. The ones that face the road I’m fine with.

Also want to make some big bucks.

100k a year or close to it.

How much home time are you looking for? With all endorsements, the right company, work ethic, you could certainly do 100k.

I can stay out for weeks no problem. The thing is I’m currently living in Houston but originally from Virginia. Ideally I’d like a company that can give me some home time here and other times some home time in Virginia. I’m thinking out 2-3 weeks make a big sack of cash, take a couple days in Houston. Other times work 3-5 weeks make a bigger sack of cash and take a week off in Virginia.

I know I know; I want a lot. But feel I have a lot to offer.

Even at $.60 cpm, you'll have to turn over 160,000 miles per year! Forget working for 2-3 weeks then taking a week off. OTR doesn't pay quite that well. With the time off that you are looking for, plan on 65 ish. Good luck.

Some companies, Prime is one, consider you inexperienced if you don't have OTR experience in the last 3-5 years. Even if you drove 25 years delivering in NYC with a spotless record, they would have you ride with a trainer for weeks or months. Other companies do not do that.

My base rate is 60cpm, with bonuses and accessory pay I will be well into the 6 figures this year. Too many people get hung up on the base rate and don’t see the whole picture.

That being said I work more then 3 on/ 1 off. More like 6on/ one off. But I’m shooting for early retirement in 20 or so years.

Look at Magnum LTD out of Fargo too. Might work for you home time wise… maybe a little short in pay… but I bet they would hire you

What sector of trucking are you doing, reefer, dry van, flatbed, tanker, any hazmat involved?

And where are you guys finding jobs like this, Indeed? Craigslist? Small mom and pop carriers?

I don't think I've ever seen an OTR company job that was reefer or dry van that had accessorial pay (besides detention) and where you could make 6 figures. I'm assuming you must be working in some kind of specialized niche but even then, what websites are you using to find these jobs in the first place?
