Climate Express

Well the wife is headed to dallas for 2 weeks. She stopped off in little rock. Gonna stay the night at my aunt an uncle's place then go on to dallas in the morning. I'm sitting in elkhorn wi for morning delivery.

 

Not Jewish but oy vey. This mclane takes the cake.

 

Which mclane is that?

 

Forest park Georgia. You have to buzz in at the gate one truck at a time. Very discombobulated in the receiving office. Somehow got empty in less than two hours. Last time I was there took 4+ hours

 

Day 1 of orientation done. Getting a Tk early, tomorrow by noon. So far so good. You guys stay safe. Will update tomorrow with Tk# and first load assignment.

 

This reminds me of the McLane in Memphis. It’s appointed freight but they start checking in at 12:01 a.m and it’s a mad dash to the gate. They have a street in front of them, you whip around in the adjacent buildings lot and back down the street so you can drive into McLane’s gate. It’s a joke. I’ve been to 2 McLane’s in my life 1) Memphis and 2) Shawnee KS (Kansas City), and I gotta tell ya, if I never saw a McLane dock again in my life I probably wouldn’t be too heart broken. The 2 I mentioned unload at wee dark 30 in the morning and then tell you to get out once empty. And there’s either nowhere around to go or everything is full at that hour if there was. 2 thumbs way down.

 

This is awesome driver, good job. I like the way this is developing. Keep it coming. The drivers starting out with a new job no matter how much experience gathers traction for all to read. Update away my good man, Update away, and Thank You.
