Sorry about your tough luck running man. I had a similar issue with my company truck last month and was in a Penske lease till the part came in. About 2 weeks. I work for a private fleet so it wasn’t that big of problem. I feel for you guys that still have to make the payments when the equipment is down. Good luck to ya.

Going to go home and start looking at that option, 3rd party sellers eBay, etc are sold out as well.

Is just deleting not an option? Probably be cheaper than missing possibly 4 wks revenue....I know it's harder to find shops that will do it, but they are still out there...

    Jarhed1964 and blacklabel Thank this.

Not interested in deleting, one it’s still under warranty , and you are correct shops are getting harder to find now that EPA is actually fining them. Just in the last few months several shops are actually getting fined, several videos on YouTube from diesel shops who have received letters and fines.

Now granted not creating revenue for 3 to 4 weeks sucks, but unlike a lot of owner operators that don’t plan for unforeseen downtime I’ve been putting money away in my rainy day fund for years. I will be fine, my truck is financed through navistar financial, and they have already agreed to push this months payment to the backside of the loan. They are well aware of the issues that are occurring with this part.

i had the same problem yesterday. i started getting a intake nox abnormal error and check engine light came on. Rush said the sensor is on national backorder and they have trucks lined up for one. i called around to freightliner and international with the same answer. ended up going up to pick a part north of town and found an isx with the sensor still in the turbo so got it and took a chance. it worked. no check engine lights or out of range errors. the sensor cost $75 and busted knuckles and plenty of paranoia (rattlesnakes) but i do have a sensor to keep the truck rolling.

@runningman0661 were you impressed by the service at Pittsburgh Power? I'm a company driver, have no intentions of becoming an O/O, but I listen to Rutherford and their segment every Tuesday and can't tell if I'm impressed by their knowledge, or if they're selling snake oil. Most of the techs seem helpful, but I can't decipher whether or not I trust the info Bruce puts out. He seems knowledgeable, but then again I'm not a mechanic so I can't verify the information, he also seems a bit stuck on pushing the "catalyst", I hear callers call in that swear by it, I hear others that aren't impressed. Interested to hear your take, I find the program interesting and informative, but still find myself scratching my head at times. Good luck with the truck woe's as well, hate that a breakdown hit you that quickly.

Come on in. I like it much better than Schneider. There's way more opportunity here.
